ABOUT

I am a recent graduate from the University For The Creative Arts based in Farnham. I am located in Surrey Hampshire. 

I specialise in cinematography and lighting but I am very keen to work in the art department where possible.


In my free time I enjoy photography, I have started to take an interest in writing as this is something I loved to do as a child. I host and edit a podcast with a good friend Heba. This is something we began during the covid lockdown.

June 2021 - In Post Production

A FRESH START - CAMERA OPERATOR

A short daylight horror which follows a carer and her not so feeble client. My duties so far have included discussing with the DOP what equipment is best to use, as well as shot list, lenses and logistics. Camera, equipment and lens testing. Planning and rehearsing shots, following a brief, working closely with other departments such as lighting, sound and production design. Assembling and setting up equipment.

2021

THE BRASS ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM - 2ND ASSISTANT CAMERA 

A short experimental horror, based in a black void that disrupts time, space and logic. My duties included slating and logging each scene’s camera takes. Taking notes from the director about each take. Keeping a constant line of communication between the camera and lighting department on set. The short film has been distributed by ALTER.

2019

MEMORIES - DOP, STUDENT

A 16mm short student film about a grandson and his grandfather who has lost his eyesight. My duties were to make the artistic and technical decisions related to the image. Deciding what film stock, lenses and filters to use whilst making sure they fit the director’s vision. Communicating with all departments, as well as making sure all logistics are accounted for.

A feature film about a man who finds out he has 30 days to live and sets out to right his wrongs before it is too late. My duties were slate, moving equipment and helping make teas and coffees for crew and actors. Now available on Amazon Prime
